What is Hadrian?
Hadrian is a cybersecurity startup founded in August 2021 that continuously maps assets, discovers risks, and prioritizes remediation for security teams to harden their external attack surfaces. Hadrian has raised €16.8 million since 2021 – securing €3.5 million in recent investment from ABN AMRO.

Hadrian provides companies with a real-time Exposure Management platform from a hacker's perspective – because hackers know hackers best.

Hadrian's offices are located on the buzzing Leidseplein street in Amsterdam and the famous Baker Street in London. The team consists of ambitious people from over 20 nationalities, dedicated to secure companies and offer a scalable solution to automated offensive security.

Your role:
Hadrian is equipped with highly-skilled hackers who spend their time writing modules and now we need YOU to deploy and review these modules. As a DevSecOps, your main goal at Hadrian is to deploy new hacker models and also to help our Hackers design new hacker modules. Additionally, DevSecOps will have to review existing hacker modules to improve their observability and results.

Together with two other DevSecOps, you are responsible for ensuring the coverage, reliability, and consistency of the hacker module results autonomously. Hacker modules include attack discovery, fingerprinting, and vulnerability detection scripts written by our hackers or open-source tools.

What you will do as a DevSecOps at Hadrian!

  • Develop event-based microservices that run the Hacker modules (i.e., wrap hacker code with event handlers and producers)
  • Help the Hacking team review results of the deployed hacker code
  • Dockerize” the created microservices
  • Maintain a Golang library for sending/receiving Hadrian-specific cloud events
  • Improve performance and maintainability of the hacker code
  • Implement and improve observability (tracing, logging, metrics) of the microservices to review the performance of the deployed microservices
  • Create Kubernetes deployments using Helm, Kustomize, and Flux
  • Use Knative as a serverless framework to deploy your microservices
  • Deploy and maintain external dependencies required for the hacker code, such as passive data sources or deployments, such as Unbound or Selenium web browser clusters

Hadrian’s working culture offers:

  • Freedom and opportunity to start your own projects and be involved in other projects
  • Chance to be creative and innovative
  • Communication and collaboration with other divisions
  • Domain knowledge in the Cybersecurity industry
